It's a Big Night for Dinner and a Movie

Slow Food North Louisiana is partnering with the Robinson Film Center this summer on a Food for Thought dinner and a movie series. Our July film is Big Night, an excellent film with a stellar cast that will make your mouth water. Doors open at 5:45, dinner is served at 6, and the film will start after dinner. A summary of the plot:

New Jersey, 1950s. Two brothers run an Italian restaurant. Business is not going well as a rival Italian restaurant is out-competing them. In a final effort to save the restaurant, the brothers plan to put on an evening of incredible food. Romance/Comedy, 1996, 109 min., R.”

Tickets include dinner and the movie and are $30. There will be a cash bar available. The Robinson Film Center is located at 617 Texas St, Shreveport, 318.459.4122.
