Many belong to the We Grow Together! coalition, working to bring about a healthy local food system for the ArkLaTex, of which Slow Food is a founding partner.

- LSU AgCenter
The LSU AgCenter exists to develop and deliver practical, useful, life-enhancing information to the citizens of Louisiana.
- Red River Coalition of Community Gardeners
RRCCG is an organization of individuals in Northwest Louisiana who value good nutrition and health. They work together to share and celebrate the power of community to create a better world. They believe that community gardens are focal points of neighborhood where the seeds of healthy families and communities can be planted and nourished.
- Northwest Louisiana Master Gardeners
The mission of the Louisiana Master Gardener volunteer program is to support the LSU AgCenter’s Cooperative Extension Service by using research-based information to help educate the public on best management practices in consumer horticulture and environmental stewardship.
