Slow Food North Louisiana invites you to a tour of Nourishing Farms, the homestead farm of Chef Gabriel Balderas of Zuzul Coastal Cuisine and El Cabo Verde and a Slow Food North La Board member.

Join us on May 1 to learn about the farm, what they are growing, how they are growing it, and what they plan to do with the bounty.

Tour Details:

When: May 1, 2-3 pm

Where: Nourishing Farms, 9759 Crow Rd, Shreveport (about 5 minutes from El Cabo Verde). Click here for Google Maps directions

What else: dress for a farm tour (flat shoes) and consider a hat and sun screen depending on weather.
