"Sipping" with a Sommelier, an Olive Oil Tasting at Bella Nonna's

Please refrain from eating strong foods that day, think garlic and onions, mints and gum, since we will be tasting. All of these will affect the palate. Also, avoid perfumes and colognes, as these interfere with not only your palate, but your neighbors'.
Bella Nonnas co-owner Carline Procell recently became a certified olive oil sommelier through The Olive Oil Times Sommelier Program. Carline now is well-versed in olive oil sensory assessment, production best practices, health and nutrition, culinary applications and quality assurance and will share some of her knowledge with us at this learning and tasting event.
