Learning Legacies Farm in Blanchard, Louisiana is a family farm growing vegetables and raising goats, ducks, chickens and a dairy cow named Dolly. They grow many heirloom seeds donated by Slow Food North Louisiana and from other sources, using sustainable growing practices. You will often find their products in local restaurants. Come take a tour with us and learn more about their farm practice.

Dress for a working farm tour. Sturdy shoes are encouraged. Sunscreen and bug spray are also advised. There will be drinking water available.

This event is free and open to the public. Children are welcome but it is a working farm so they must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
